From Pain to Purpose
Steve Vicera
Founder, Owner
For over 20 years, I've dedicated my practice to helping people move without pain—building strength, restoring function, and improving quality of life through personalized Pilates and therapeutic exercise.
My approach is rooted in my own experience. In the 1990s, I competed as a champion bodybuilder, earning titles including Mr. Philippines. But years of intense training took their toll, and I developed spondylolisthesis—a spinal condition that became a turning point. I discovered Pilates during my rehabilitation and found what had been missing: core stability, spinal alignment, and movement that worked with the body instead of against it. Pilates didn't just heal me—it completely changed how I understood fitness.
Today, as a certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor and Pain-Free Movement Specialist, I focus on spinal stabilization and corrective exercise—designing individualized programs that prioritize safety, function, and long-term results. If you're dealing with back pain or moving through life with limitations, I understand where you're from. And I know how to help you get past it.

Chandler Suggs
Pilates Instructor
Chandler grew up in Phoenix before moving to Los Angeles in 2009 to attend fashion school. From there she remained in the industry until 2015, when she left to become certified in Pilates. In 2011, at only 22 years old, she began to experience chronic pain as well as a myriad of other symptoms. After years of doctors, procedures, and medication with no answers, she began seeing a Naturopath and doing Pilates. The combination of the two had a significant effect on what she would learn were multiple autoimmune diseases. The life-changing impact she felt from Pilates motivated her to leave the fashion world and strive to help others have a similar experience.

Dr. Jenni Winters, DPT
Physical Therapist
Jenni understands what it's like when pain keeps you from doing what you love. With her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and background as a nurse at Phoenix Children's Hospital, she's guided hundreds of athletes and active individuals back to pain-free movement. She helped develop the ACL return-to-play program at Phoenix Children's and specializes in getting you back to your sport—whether that's triathlons, CrossFit, tennis, or dance—without sidelining you completely. As an Ironman triathlete herself, Jenni knows the mental and physical toll of injury. Her certifications include dry needling, manual therapy, gait analysis, and strength conditioning.
Dr. Heather Laskaris, DPT
Physical Therapist
Heather deeply understands what it feels like to lose control of your own body. After managing her own chronic injury and pelvic floor dysfunction, she became a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in outpatient orthopedics and pelvic health for all genders. Heather provides one-on-one care that's completely personalized to your needs—because she understands that cookie-cutter approaches don't work for chronic pain. She'll teach you exactly what's happening in your body and give you the tools to take back control. Her goal: helping you return to full function and the life you want to live.
